FVMAs 84th Annual Conference www.fvma.org
Dear Colleagues and Friends,
I am very happy to welcome you to our 84th Annual Conference. As President of the FVMA, I thank you for your participation and encourage you to fully take part in the activities and proceedings that are set to unfold. They have been designed to provide a most satisfying conference experience for all.
The goal of the FVMAs Annual Conference is to present a world-class quality continuing education opportunity for veterinary professionals. Our scientific program and wet labs are aimed at providing continuing education for every member of the veterinary team. Over forty acclaimed speakers are set to present more than two hundred and seventy hours of quality CE over the conference period. We are intent on delivering a product that fully reflects our conference theme, Building The Dynamic Veterinary Team.
The Annual Conference Planning Committee and staff of the FVMA have dedicated themselves to making sure our educational package is presented in a stimulating and enjoyable environment. They have successfully attracted the participation of one hundred and fifteen of our most valuable industry partners to this event. We expect a dynamic showcase in our Marketplace with company exhibits and other special functions that have been carefully planned to further enhance your opportunities to network with colleagues, businesses and friends.
I urge you to be open to experiencing the fullness of the next three days. Sample all that our Marketplace has to offer. Participate in special activities such as the cover-all bingo and lounge in our Annex B cafe. And take the time to enjoy the special exotic animal encounters feature and meet your favorite Disney characters. This on-site program gives you the times and locations of all our activities, and of course, FVMA staff members are waiting to assist you in any way they can to make certain that your experience of the Annual Conference is the best it can be.
I want to thank the FVMA Annual Conference Planning Committee and staff for the diligence and professionalism with which they worked to realize this very successful event. I wish to thank all of you for your attendance. Your presence has made a most successful annual convention.
Please allow me to single out the veterinary students and technicians for a very warm welcome and my thanks for attending. You are now preparing yourselves to serve and grow our profession; and you carry with you our great expectations. Let me assure you that we are doing our very best to make sure you have the strongest foundations on which to continue building. This 84th Annual Conference of the FVMA is a testament to the work and accomplishments of our Association and the legacy we are building for those that follow us.
Welcome to the FVMAs 84th Annual Conference!
Sincerely,
John R. Bass, DVM, President
