Surgeon Anthony Atalademonstrates an early-stage experiment that could someday

solve the organ-donor problem: a 3D printer that uses living cells

to output a transplantable kidney. http://www.ted.com/playlists/23/the_future_of_medicine.html

Commandment

Thou shall tell a

story

Anthony uses a 30 sec. video testimony from a young patient who is a

survivor from the technology; that further supports the his main point with

importance; while establishing an emotional connection with his audience.

Anthony takes emotionally connecting with

his audience by a live appearance

from his patient, with a live testimony.

Anthony familiarizes audience with his work

by demonstrating a live sample of his work,

having his lecture accompanied by his organ printing

machines, that printed as he lectured.

Ken Robinson has an incredible gift for speaking in which he

captivates his audience without the use of any visual supporting

materials. But how do his visual thinkers experience his speech?

Anthony Atala the unimaginable aspects of his work

through any medium necessary for easy visualization while

compensating for his lacking humor and energy levels that may

otherwise be needed to support his main points; commanding a

standing ovation.

Both approaches of Atala and Robinson

though different, were both successful

at reaching their audiences by having

cultivated a healthy relationship with

their material, allowing them

to cultivate serous bonds with their

audiences.
