Professional Experience

• Teaching experience at Anglolang Language School where I would teach 6 hoursa day ( 3 x 2 hour lessons) to a wide variety of nationalities and abilities. Theschool has a “negotiated syllabus” so I would create the lesson combining myown material with the resources available at the school for the particular topic/grammar point that I was teaching.

• Volunteering for extra-curricular activities at Anglolang: I would often lead theday-trips and afternoon excursions.

• Training experience in a corporate environment. Teaching new starters, holdingmeetings, giving presentations. All of which gave me experience of communicating on different levels.

• Recent completion of a month long CELTA month course which taught me the

principle of effective teaching, a range of practical skills to teach English to adultlearners and gave me hands-on teaching practice.

• Completion of a 20 hour TEFL course, which covered various modules including:classroom management, elicitation techniques, lesson preparation, games &activities, grammar awareness.
