• Life Cycle: Female shrimp lay over a thousand

eggs, which are attached to her swimming legs.

moveable, snapping appendage.

• Crustaceans are a group of animals that have a hard exoskeleton, jointed legs, and a segmented body.

• Crustaceans are invertebrates (they lack a backbone)). Most crustaceans live in water, but some live on land. Crustaceans are the most numerous animals in the oceans, but some crustaceans live on fresh water.

Some Characteristics of Crustaceans:

• A hard exoskeleton made of calcium - no internal skeleton.

way to the center!

Fold the corners to the center, one by

Now fold your square in half into two

rectangles. Then unfold it and fold it in

half into two rectangles the other way.

With the numbered side up, put one of your hands into the underside while pushing up a little. Once you get one hand into two of the slots of the underside, place your other hand in the other two slots and push up again.
