Set a date range to limit results to the desired time frame

Limit to specific publications, like Dayton Daily News

Limit by source or article type

Limit to search for articles about a state, country, or region

Apply Settings

• Date: 2009-2014

• Source Type: Newspapers, Major World Publications, Magazines, and Wire Services

• Article Location: United States

Enter Search Terms

“giant pandas”• Use quotation marks to search for an exact phrase

AND• To join the search terms together

(birth OR born)• Use parenthesis to group search terms together• Use OR to search for either term

captivity

Results*Results are sorted from newest to oldest.

A Closer Look: Results

• Complete text of the article• Options for printing, emailing, and saving the article in top bar• Publication information (title, date, page number if available)• Search terms highlighted in red

Use “Results List” at the top of the page to return to the results page

Helpful Hint

Use the “Results Groups” in the left-hand column to narrow results by subject, publication, etc.
