Management Information System (MIS)
It is a system or process that provides information needed to manage organizations effectively.MIS helps managers by providing information in an understandable form so that it helps ineffective decision making. It should provide critical analysis of all the aspects of the business to
all the organizational levels.
MIS must not only indicate how things are going, but why they are not going as well as plannedwhere that is the case.
Here MIS helps the management to keep constant eye on all the transactions , stock buying andselling , inventory control , items on shelf etc. for efficient decision making and therefore helpsin raising profits of the supermarket (MORE).
