Company Background

• Enzo Ferrari founded Scuderia Ferrari in 1929 to organize racing events

• In 1948, Ferrari decided to create a production plant in Maranello, Italy and produced his first car, Tipo 166

• In 1952, they created the emblem of the Prancing Horse that is still used today

• Also in the same year, design house Pininfarina united with Ferrari and began designing all Ferrari cars up to today
