Felt, our mission is simple: To design, develop and deliver the best bicyclesthe world. Period. Our roots go back more than 20 year s, to the man whose name appea rs ondowntube. It all started in the late 1980s when Jim Felt, an ace motocrosschanic at the time, designed and built a triathlon bike or motocross star
hnny OMara. Johnny was competing in triathlons or training an d he askedm to build him a new tri bike. The frst Felt bike was a revelation. A competitive age group triathletemsel, Jim had a distinct vision o how he could improve on the currentsigns. He took great care to optimize the riders position or aerodynamics.hnny started winning, and beore long Jim was building bikes or many oworlds top triathletes.
Since then, the Felt brand has grown well beyond its racing roots, but theding principle remains the same. Every Felt bikeroad or o-road, high-
d perormance to entry-level recreationis meant to make the cyclingperience the best it can be. Whether climbing the steepest peaks o the TourFrance, bombing singletrack trails, racing a frst triathlon or commuting tork, each promises uncompromised perormance, comort and efciency.Ten years ater he built that frst triathlon bike, Jim wanted to expand andke his bikes available to more riders. Enter Bill Duehring and Michael
uellmann. Bill, a bike industry veteran, wanted to be part o a company thatuld capitalize on his years o product development experience and strongationships with suppliers all over the world. Michael owned a successul
tribution company in Europe.t was easy or the three to agree on a direction because they had the
me goal: a bicycle brand dedicated to quality and technology. Jim broughtname, design experience and athlete relationships. Bill had broad-basedoduct development knowledge and vendor connections. Michael had theperience in distribution.A bicycle company had never been established with so much experiencem day one. The day Felt incorporate d, it had more than 70 years combinedperience developing, manuacturing and selling high-quality bicycles. Went want to be the biggest bike company in the world, just the best, is axim oten uttered by Jim, Bill and Michael.
Blending the lightweight, sti and quick-handling perormance o a proessional-grade carbon fber road racingbike with the aerodynamic advantages o a time trial bike, the AR has redefned what a road bike is capableo accomplishing.
Three years ago the pro racers on the Garmin-Transitions team challenged Felt to put its aerodynamicexpertise toward designing a new road bike. The racers asked Felt, makers o the worlds astest time trial andtrack bikes (the DA and the TK1), to help them improve their perormance and efciency in the road races theycompete in day in and day out.
A collaborative development eort between Felt engineers and athletes, the AR was ofcially unveiled at the2008 Tour de France. The competition immediately took notice. The pros know that at the speeds they race, aerodynamic efciency matters. It can be the dierence between winning and losing.
Following cues rom the DA time trial bike, the AR is designed with a purpose-built down tube, head tube, chainstays, seatstays, ork blades and a wheelwell-conorming seat tube. It also eatures the shielded internalcable routing ound in the DA to maximize its aerodynamic advantage.
The result o this design is clear. Against its true adversarythe windthe AR gives racers a tangibleadvantage. Testing sessions at the San Diego Low Speed Wind Tunnel acility have proven that, depending onspeed and wind conditions, a rider can reasonably expect to save rom 58 to 75 seconds over the course o anhour when compared to a bike with round rame tubes in similar conditions.
The AR is the bike Garmin-Transitions riders use any time they put a nose in the wind. Its the perect machineor making a successul breakaway, or bringing one back. It has been become a critical part o the teams stableo race bikes, oten used by riders like David Zabriskie.
Like all Felt road bikes, the AR is characterized by crisp handling. The proprietary blend o carbon fbermaterials used to construct the rame give it the stiness and ride quality or which Felt is known.
Beyond the rame, each AR is outftted with a ull complement o race-ready parts. From aerodynamic wheelsto awless drivetrains and gearing thats suited to racing speeds, the AR Series is designed and built to deliver
you to your best perormance ever.
Over the last decade, Felt has grown into one o the worlds most respectedcycling brands by staying true to its principles. In engineering, productdevelopment, sales, marketing and customer service, the same underlying
values that sparked the start o the company drive every Felt employee, everyday. However you measure successproduct development, milestones or race
winsFelt has experienced it. The products speak or themselves. This yearthe all-new DA, the worlds astest UCI-legal time trial bike, is just one o ahandul o exciting new 2011 models. The F Series, the bike that has deliveredGarmin-Transitions pros to countless wins in the worlds biggest road races, has also been redesigned and is now lighter and stier. Theres also an all-new World Cup-worthy ull-suspension XC bike called the Edict and a newseries o un, versatile bikes called Verza City.
As youd expect, Felt continues to push the technology envelope withbreakthrough developments including an all-new suspension system calledFAST, the Bayonet 3 Steering System, UHC Ultimate+Nano carbon fbermaterial and some innovative manuacturing processes including InsideOutInternally Optimized Molding and Dynamic Monocoque Construction.
On the competition ront, the Garmin-Transitions team has grown rom aedgling road team to an international powerhouse since partnering withFelt. And Felt-sponsored track racers like Sarah Hammer have ridden the TK1to World Championships and world records. In multi-sport, Felt won bothOlympic triathlon gold medals at the 2008 Beijing Games, and has racked
up dozens o 2010 wins with its all-star lineup including Ironman competitorTerenzo Bozzone.O course, competition is just part o the story. Felts iconic cruiser lineup
continues to expand, and the Ca series oers a modern, stylish solution oranyone wishing to make cycling part o a healthy, responsible liestyle. FeltFixies and the new Verza City are two more examples o how Felt is changingthe way people think about bikes.
With so many new products and technologies, 2011 is a big year orFelt. Were confdent that every bike and product you see with the Felt nameon it honestly represents our goal o making your cycling experience moreenjoyable. We hope you agree.

he Z Serieshether youre racing or attempting to complete an all-day epic, comort iscritical actor in your perormance. Its simple: The more comortable youe, the better youre able to ride.Thats where the Z Series comes in. Its specifcally designed to blendrormance and comort so you can ride arther and asterand enjoyery ride more than ever beore.Take a look at some o the bikes used by pros at long, grueling racese the Tour de France over the years and youll notice they were a biterent than those that are popular today. They were built to be stable ont descents and eatured a slightly more upright rider position. They hadger wheelbases and oered excellent vibration dampingproven waysreduce atigue. These ride characteristics are central to the design goalsthe Z.Z Series rames use a slightly longer head tube or more exibility inndlebar and rider positioning. They eature a sloping top tube orreased stand-over clearance, and they beneft rom improved vertical
mpliance due to a more exposed seatpost. The Z also eatures a slightly
longer wheelbase or confdent handling at any speed.Even with those modifcations, the Z still packs the same torsional stiness
and bottom bracket rigidity as Felts legendary F bikes. It all adds up to abike that can be ridden in classic racing position, yet also provides options.
Even with its distinctly dierent look and eye toward improved comort, itsa mistake to think o the Z as a non-perormance-oriented bike. Many o theGarmin-Transitions pros choose the Z or select races.
Whether you choose a Z model built rom super-premium UHCUltimate+Nano carbon fber and cutting-edge electronic Shimano Di2shiting, or one o the lightweight aluminum/carbon fber models, youllget the same assured handling and race-worthy stiness. Its a ride thats asresponsive as it is confdence-inspiring.
All Z Series bikes are built with the right components or the ideal ft, plusgearing or any terrain and unmatched reliability. Each bike is equipped
with either a compact or triple crankset combined with a wide-range cassetteto help you tackle hills. I ever there was a bike to inspire you to reach new
heights, the Z is it.

e goal o Felts ZW Series is to honestly address the unique needs o womenclists rom both an engineering standpoint and an a thletes perspective. Manynuacturers introduce womens bikes by simply switching some parts, suchsaddles and handlebars, and changing the rame graphics to set them apartm mens models. But Felt started the entire design and engineering processm scratch. The ZW shares some o the ride characteristics o the Z Series. Both eatureonger wheelbase or an extremely confdent, assured ride quality. Both oerore handlebar positioning choices, a sloping top tube or superior stand-overarance and improved vertical compliance that results rom a more ex posed
atpost. Those design eatures contribute to the ZWs overall ride quality, but to reallytimize the bike or women, and to address every anatomical detail, everygle and dimension o the rame was scrutinized. Because a womans bodys distinctly dierent proportions than a mans, simply making a smaller ramenot an eective solution. Essentially, Felt reverse-engineered the geometry tohieve the desired ft.Felt engineers pored over the measurements. Then they spoke in depth withmale racers. And through trial-and-error, they arrived at the current oering:
r ZW sizes to ft every body type.
ZW bikes are built with the same materials as Z Series bikes, but the lay-up iscustomized to improve perormance or women. The top-o-the-line ZW modeluses Felts unparalleled UHC Ultimate+Nano carbon fber, and in all ZW bikesthe materials are careully optimized or womens needs. For ex ample, they alleature smaller diameter tubes, thinner tube walls and shorter tube intersections.
As with everything Felt designs, the ZW is ocused on perormance. Felttriathlete and 2008 Beijing Olympic Gold Medalist Emma Snowsillall 5-oot-3 o heris living proo o whats possible when riding a high-perormance,perectly sized bike. In winning the ITU World Championship three times,Snowsill has put the ZW through its paces. Her ZW is sti enough or unmatchedefciency, light enough to keep her ying over hills, and designed with justenough vertical compliance or her size.
Beyond the rame, other ZW women-specifc parts and components includeslightly shorter cranks and careully selected compact gearing. The stems areshorter and the handlebar is narrower and shallower. The brake levers eatureadjustable reach or smaller hands, and every ZW comes with a comortable
womens-specifc saddle. So what does it all mean? It means that fnally there is a bike you can
call your own. A bike thats comortable, invigorating, motivating and
thoroughly enjoyable.

The TT/TRI Series
Felt built its name on creating innovative, aerodynamic bikes to race againstthe clock. For more than 20 years, we have continually brought new ideas torider positioning, efciency and, above all, aerodynamic perormance. FromIronman champions to amateur TT racers, when it comes to solo eorts, ridersrely on Felt.
The bikes you see in our 2011 TT/Tri Series have undergone years odevelopment and have already been provenin the wind tunnel and at theracesto be our astest yet.
It starts with the all-new DA. Felts agship TT/triathlon bike gainedworldwide attention this past summer when Garmin-Transitions pros started
racing it midway through the season. With radically shaped rame tubing, lighter and stier carbon fber material, and a host o new technologiesincluding the Bayonet 3 Steering System and proprietary, aerodynamicbrakes, veteran team rider David Millar wasted no time riding it to podiumfnishes including the Tour de France prologue.

In track racing, its onee, one gearand the results dont lie.The TK1 is a perect example o how Felt develops technology to give athletes a winning edge. Felt took theme carbon fber engineering methodology used to create the pro road and TT machines raced by Tour dence pros and Olympic medalists and applied it to the unique needs o track racing. As with the DA and theeries, the TK1 development process included extensive wind-tunnel analysis and eedback gained rom Feltse athletes. And in the end, the results speak or themselves: medals, national championships, world records.Like the DA time trial/triathlon bike, the TK1 uses Felts UHC Ultimate+Nano carbon fber, unsurpassed orability to make lightweight, sti, ride-tuned perormance bikes. Just as with the DA, the TK1 was engineeredng powerul, cutting-edge CFD sotware and extensive aerodynamic analysis.Once the materials were chosen, Felt engineers applied proven geometry to give the bike precise, track-ecifc handling characteristics. Up ront, the groundbreaking Bayonet Steering System has been continuallyned, and the 2011 TK2 comes equipped with the latest Bayonet 3 ork/stem/handlebar combination. All o Felts track bikes, including the TK2 and TK3, have developed a loyal ollowing among track racersm beginner to pro. Dirt, pavement, mud or snowyou never know wh at you might encounter in cyclocross racing, an dthats what makes it so un. And challenging. And absolutely intense.
The unpredictable and constan tly changing terrain in cyclocross puts a riders skills to the test, andits also the ultimate proving grounds or a bike. The sport requires a lightweight, high-perormancebike that can stand up to the elements and excel in a wide variety o punishing terrain.
Felts FX Series bikes blend all the eatures o a serious cyclocross race bike with real-worldversatility so that its perectly capable o doing a race one weekend and an epic dirt-road ride thenext. FX is game or any adventure w here you might encounter pavement, dir t and who knows whatelse.
The Felt-sponsored pros that depend on FX bikes demand a ew things: The bikes have to handleconfdently in dirt, sand, mud or snow. They have to be lightweight to zip up climbs, toss over ashoulder and carry through barrier sections. They have to always shit like new, stop instantly andaccelerate like a rocket out o corners. Failure to do any one o these things is a compromise ourracers cant accept.
The heart o Felt cyclocross bikes is the proprietary 7005 Superlite aluminum rame tubing. Thislightweight, sti material is engineered to create a ride quality thats simply unsurpassed.
The FX rame is designed with maximum clearance so mud stays on the course, not on your bike.It allows or large tires that increase stability and traction. The down tube, chainstays and seatstaysare reduced in diameter, and the seat tube is butted to improve compliance through bumpy terrain. The top tube is attened on the underside so its a little riendlier on the shoulder.
The rame also eatures downtube-threaded cable stops or easy shiting adjustments, one-piece
dropouts or stiness and reliability, and water bottle, rack and ender mounts or those longer,non-racing adventures.
Whether youre shooting or a national championship or just dabbling in cross to improve yourftnessor even i you just need a ast, quick-handling and dependable bike or rides that mightlead you o the pavementthere is an FX just or you.

h cutting-edge rame technology and a superior ride quality that has won over many o Felts proessionalss-country racers, Felts Nine Series bike blend the sureooted handling characteristics o 29 wheelsh the type o razor-sharp, race-bred perormance that characterizes every bike that bears the Felt name.Design criteria or the Nine has always been strict and ocused. The goal is to combine the low rollingistance o 29 wheels shallow approach angle with the higher gyroscopic eect o the larger wheelile still maintaining the crisp handling characteristics o traditional 26 wheel bikes. To maximize the Nines perormance on the trail, Felt engineers modifed the head angle and added ak that produces the same trail as the Six Series. In addition, the Nine rames were constructed with sametom bracket height as the Six bikeslower than most other 29 wheel bikes to give it a low center o
avity and put the rider more in tune with the terrain. The larger wheels did pose some ormidable design challenges to Felt engineers. Chainstays on 29 wheeles requently run long to accommodate the tire and ront derailleur. But thanks to a curved seat tube andged chainstay yoke on the aluminum rames, Felt engineers were able to keep the chainstays short withouterering with the ront derailleur. This keeps rider weight properly distributed. Better ront-to-rear weightribution improves the bikes abilities on out-o-the-saddle climbs. The combination o all these eatures makes the Nine eel more like a traditional hardtail mountain bike,y aster. The result o all this engineering is a bike that inspires confdence with its tried-and-true handling.Top Nine models eature Felts proprietary Dynamic Monocoque carbon fber construction or improvede quality, drivetrain efciency, torsional rigidity and tire clearance. Naturally, a carbon fber rame meansbike is lighter and oers a more comortable ride as a result o carbon fbers natural damping ability.
The national-caliber marathon racers on the Kenda-Felt team will tell you: The Nine is an enduranceers dream. With its light weight and ability to oat over rocks, it blends a smooth riding experience withredible responsiveness. Its 29 wheels make longer o-road eorts more sustainable. From carbon fber handlebars, orks and seatposts to saddles and even tires, the Devox name is reservedor the best o the best. Granted a no-limits approach to engineering and materials, our team re-imaginedall design and perormance possibilities and created new standards.
It starts with cutting-edge materials. Not only do we use the best available, but we also match the materialto the specifc demands o each individual part. We use the highest quality carbon fber or all Devoxhandlebars, saddles and orks. Lightweight road stems use 7000-series aluminum with titanium hardware.Ready-or-action o-road stems use hardened cr-mo bolts or unsurpassed strength and security.
The Devox TT/Tri bar is a perect example o the lengths Felt will go or superior product development. Our goal was simple: Create the best aero bar in the world or time trialists and triathletes. It had to besuper strong, ultra light, completely adjustable and aerodynamically superior to anything else available. The end result is a ip-op designed, monocoque carbon fber base bar with multi-adjustable extensions. It is wind tunnel developed, tested and proven. Nothing is aster or oers greater adjustability. And this isjust one example. All Devox products receive this same level o detailed design attention.
In the end, it is the engineering expertise, material selection and design testing that allows Felt tocreate parts that help you ride arther, aster and with greater control. It all adds up to a more enjoyableexperience every time you ride.
