Chenoweth PTA volunteers continue to deliver. January’s open visitation was packed with parents and grandparents touring the school and our volunteers did a terrific job handling the overflow crowd. Our students in the Pep Club are super-charged fans of all our Charger athletes. There’s still room for more studentsto come out and cheer on our basketball team and cheerleaders. We have several upcoming events at Chenoweth (Scholastic Book Fair, Talent Show, Film Festival and Spring Dance) and it takes volunteers to make them happen. Our PTA membership continues to grow and there’s still room for more parents, guardians, grandparents and friends to join. We hope you’ll join us and Be Part of Something BIg at Chenoweth.

Scholastic Book Fair Valentine’s Day is almost here! Con-sider a gift for your little Valentine that is sweeter than candy - a book from the Chenoweth Book Fair! Our Book Fair runs from February 14th to the 18th. All proceeds are used to purchase books for our incredible library - one of the largest in the county! Bring in a completed order form or make your selections directly from the Book Fair. Many teachers have a class wish list that is posted in the library. Purchasing a book for your child’s class is a great way to be part of something BIG at Chenoweth. got talent? Share your special talent at the 2011 Chenoweth Talent Show! We will be holding try outs on February 9th and February 10th from 4 - 6pm. You must fill out an audition form and return it to the front office. The Chenoweth Talent Show is scheduled for Friday, March 4th, from 6 - 8pm. All Chenoweth families are invited to attend this FREE event - it is great family fun.

District PTa CaP(Clothing Assistance Program)

Volunteers are needed at CAP on February 8th from Noon - 3pm. We will meet at Chenoweth at 11:30am and carpool to the location.

Last Call for Pics! Do you have photos from a class

field trip, class party or a special event at Chenoweth? They would make a great addition to our year-book. Please email any photos to jwegenast@insightbb.com for consideration. The cut off date is February 18th. Thanks!

Mr. H needs parent volunteers to supervise 5th grade students while they are filming during class hours.Volunteers will be needed on Mondays, Tuesdays & Fridays from 9:50 am to 10:30 am, on Wednesdays from 12:45 pm to 2:15 pm and on Thurs-days from 2:25 pm to 3:05 pm.
