INTRODUCTION

BNU partnered with MacauPass to bring you a new and trendy way of doing mobile payments. Add superior banking convenience to your daily life by binding your BNU account with MPay App and start performing mobile payments today!

Using Express Payment is easy and fast, but we first need to ensure you are a BNU Customer with Online Banking (BOL) account and that you have successfully downloaded, installed and performed login on MPay App.

This document shares the reply to the most Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) as well as presents a comprehensive step-by-step guideline on how to bind and unbind the accounts, helping you to go through it at ease.

At the end of the document you may find the contacts to reach both BNU and MacauPass in case you find any issue.

FAQs

How to subscribe to BNU Online Banking (BOL)? If you have not registered our BOL service yet, please visit any of our branches for registration – it’s quick and will provide you with extra convenience on managing your banking transactions. Find the nearest branch here. How to get MPay App? MPay App is a free of charge App provided by MacauPass. You may download it from the two usual app stores: Google Play for Android and App Store for iOS. To get it, you may navigate to the desired app store and search for MPay or 澳門錢包, or simply scan the below QR Code or click one of the below app store buttons.

In which language is MPay App available? MacauPass provides MPay App in Traditional Chinese and English. What kind of functions can I use with MPay App Wallet? MPay Wallet allows you to perform the following functions:

Offline Cash Top-up at stores

Online Direct Payment

Utilities Bills Online Payment

E-coupons

Public Transportation Ticketing

MPark (Auto Parking Payment)

MPay Wallet Transfer or Red packet What kind of transactions can I perform by binding my BNU account to MPay App? You will be able to perform two different transactions: Top-up and Direct Payment.

Top-up is a transfer from your BNU account to your MPay App Wallet. The money transferred will be kept on the App (wallet) so then you may perform payments at stores and merchants via Wallet when desired and anytime later.

Direct Payment is a normal payment, meaning, a real time debiting from your BNU account to pay at a store or merchant using MPay App as a channel to conclude the transaction via QR Code generation. Money won’t be kept on the App.

Are there any transaction limits? Yes, please refer to the below table.

How many and which BNU account currencies can I bind? You may bind one of your BNU MOP/HKD Savings/Current account. Is Express Payment safe? Customers and Users best experience and safe transactions is all it matters to both BNU and MP. This is one of the reasons which why we have implemented the above transactions limits, especially the One-Time Password (OTP) for validation of transactions over MOP 1,000.00. BINDING A BNU ACCOUNT TO MPAY APP

You will have to follow two quick steps in order to bind one of your BNU accounts with MPay App, being the first completed on BNU Online Banking (BOL) and the second step on the App, the latest we assume that you have already successfully downloaded, installed and performed login on MPay App.

Head to BNU Online Banking (https://www.bnu.com.mo) -> Login -> Services -> MPay Activation.

Select the desired BNU account you wish to bind with MPay App -> Read the notes on the right side and keep it in mind for later use -> Click Activate.

If the information shown is correct, then click Confirm -> System will generate an acknowledgment page.

Open MPay App -> Login -> Tap Bank Cards icon.

Tap Add Bank Account.

Once you read the Terms & Conditions, tick the check box at the bottom and tap Agree to continue.

Fill in the requested bank account information and then tap Continue to proceed.

You will receive a One-Time Password ne-time-password (OTP) on your mobile phone registered in BNU, in order

to validate your binding request. Input it at the designated field and tap Confirm to proceed.

Congratulations! The binding is completed with success and you may now start using Express Payment.

UNBINDING A BNU ACCOUNT FROM MPAY APP

You may unbind your BNU account from MPay App at any time.

To do so, you will have to follow two quick steps, being the first completed on MPay App and the second on BOL. MPay App

Open MPay App -> Login -> Tap Bank Cards icon -> Choose the account to unbind by tapping it.

Input transaction PIN provided by MPay -> click Confirm to proceed-> Unbinding is complete.

Head to BNU Online Banking (https://www.bnu.com.mo) -> Login -> Services -> MPay Activation -> Select the account you have just unbind in MPay App -> Click Deactivate.

If the information shown is correct then click Confirm -> System will generate an acknowledgment page and the unbinding process is now fully completed.
