  He rst took an interest in photography at the age of 17 when he

purchased his rst camera and built a dark room in his bathroom.

He decided to pursue a degree in Photo Journalism from the Kiev

Institute of Culture and soon after founded Ilya’s Photography.

HHe brought Ilya’s Photography to Seattle in 1993 when he

relocated to the area with his family. His vast knowledge of
