Purpose of Appointment

• Summer courses– Institutes/Forums/Summits– University credit

– SB-CEU’s

• Course offerings– Curriculum– Law, policy and politics

Catalyzing School Improvement in Michigan (CSIM)

• A research project Connecting Schools, Families, and Communities– Funded by the Kellogg Foundation

• Prove student achievement will increase if all students come to school ready to learn

• School of Education joins with other Schools and units within the University
