DPA SUMMER INTERN PROGRAM 2019

OVERVIEW OF THE SUMMER INTERN PROGRAM

“The DPA’s internship provides a unique opportunity to learn about how local government enforces laws and effects policy. Tasks teach professional skills that apply well in this context as well as many others. You may choose to develop any skills that interest you, such as interviewing, community outreach, legal writing and research, cultural competency, document production, and public speaking.”

- Paul David Henderson, DPA Executive Director
