Several of our Member Societies have taken the challenge and the entries have been submitted to the judges, Brad Argent from Ancestry.com.au and Peter Appleby the Webmaster at AFFHO. If you have not entered this year, please give it some thought for next year. All the entries are in the category of non-professional web administrators. Therefore there will only be a prize of a subscription for one year to Ancestry for the winner and for the runner-up. The winners will be announced by Brad Argent and Peter Applebee. This is the May Report from Inverell. There have been many more registrations since May and everything is going to plan. The early bird registration date has passed, but you can still view the program and registration form at www.inverellfamilyhistory.org.au Don’t forget the family history fair on the Friday and the Newstead tour on the Monday. Accommodation is still available. Inverell reported that they had a successful weekend at the Unlock the Past Expo at Coffs Harbour in June, promoting the State Conference.
