group = $7 Manhattan = U.S. county with the highest disparity of

income. 3,200 counties in the USA. Brooklyn = 24th, Bronx = 35th, Staten Island = 234th.

Characteristics of the wealthy: married, white, better educated, employed, (managers/business/finance) , both parents work,

Households in only 15 of the 2216 areas surveyed had ave. incomes above $200,000.  12 of the 15 were on the Upper East Side.
