• Content Content is probably the most difficult

stage to differentiate, since so many of us are responsible for a State Assessment.

There are many ways, however, to effectively differentiate at this stage.

Differentiating Content

• Determine the content which the students actually need. We can do this by utilizing an online

assessment tool.

• Many online sites offer interactive multiple choice questions.

• If you have more flexibility with content, or wish to interject student preferences into existing content, you can utilize an online survey. Surveymonkey.com

• By using the data from these sites, you can effectively determine what topics your students need, or want, instruction in.

• Part of differentiation of content is to tailor lessons to students’ individual needs.
