• can easily be prepared and cooked by the entrant within 15 minutes

• contains eggs as the main ingredient• is created for character from any book,

film or TV programme• includes a brief explanation (no more that

50 words) about why your recipe has the Eggs Factor!

• the taste and appearance of your dish

• the suitability of your dish for your chosen character

• your explanation of why your dish has the Eggs Factor!

Have fun working with your parents at home to try making some different egg recipes. Time yourself

preparing and cooking them and think about which character you could make them for.

Character recipe is for- Kermit the Frog

Recipe description- A delicious green salad including lettuce, cucumber, green peppers and cress, topped with a sliced boiled egg.

Why the recipe has the ‘Eggs Factor!’- It’s not that easy being green but a tasty green salad is delicious! This recipe has the Eggs Factor because it is healthy and tasty. Kermit the Frog would love this recipe because it is his favourite colour, green.

Homer SimpsonRecipe name- Hmmm Egg Bagel

Character recipe is for- Homer Simpson

Recipe description- A bagel topped with egg mayonnaise and sprinkled with cress.

Why the recipe has the ‘Eggs Factor!’- This recipe has the Eggs Factor because it has a scrumptious egg mayonnaise topping. Homer would think that the bagel was a doughnut with green sprinkles but would be pleasantly surprised to find out it was in fact an egg bagel.

Toy SoldiersRecipe name- Eggy Soldier Supreme

Character recipe is for- The Small Soldiers from Toy Story.

Recipe description- A perfectly cooked boiled egg with toasted soldiers.

Why the recipe has the ‘Eggs Factor!’- This recipe has the Eggs Factor because it has yummy toasted strips of toasted bread to dip into a boiled egg with a delicious runny yolk. The soldiers will really like the dish being named after them.
