Para Comenzar:In your journals as an opener, describe your grandmother. Use as much Spanish as you can, then keep going in English.

Objetivos: listen to a description of a person and be able to tell who it is.

Sustantivos (nouns) Adjetivos (adjectives)

El bebé es calvo.

Calvo = bald

El hombre tiene pelo largo.

Pelo = hair

Largo = long

La mujer tiene lentes.

Lentes = glasses

La niña tiene ojos avellanos.

Ojos = eyes

Avellanos = hazel

El hombre tiene bigote.

Bigote = moustache

La mujer tiene trenzas.

Trenzas = braids

El niño tiene pelo risado.

Pelo = hair

Risado = curly

La mujer tiene pelo corto.

Pelo = hair

Corto = short

El hombre tiene una barba.

Barba = beard

La mujer tiene pelo lacio.

Lacio = straight

• Tarea: Log on to Quizlet and practice the vocab words. Try all the different activities and come to class on Monday prepared to talk about your favorite one and why.
