VILLA FAGERHEIM; located in the coastal town of Dalein Sunnfjord, county of “Sogn og Fjordane”, Norway.

The villa Dale is placed in one of the hilltops over the rural town of Dale, over watching panorama scenery of the mountains, the fjord and the town itself, in addition to the town´s Folk High School.

At the current time of completion, the Building had the highest latitude of any building in Dale, ensued by a long narrow road leading all the way up. And at the end; two gates, one for the cars, another one for the garden.

The villa is the very result of an intended new “Nor-dic Folk High School” Commissioned on behalf of the very influential and intractable principal of the con-temporary Dale folk high school of its time, Mr. Odd-leif Fagerheim.The Building was finished in the year of 1970. Meant as the first step of the rest of the school.

The building was had a floor area of approximately 563 m2 over two stories. One smaller autonomous part of the building was supposed as a residence for the prin-cipal himself.

However, for some reason the school never ever quite achieved being a fully function school, and soon turned into another use: One large private house vil-la. In the year 1976 the Villa was donated to the Nor-dic Council of Ministers.

This book is about:trying to see the subject/object through a non-filter/filter - whether artistic or analyt-ical; The autonomous goal is to discover a way of producing material with some kind of qual-ity, and try to pitch in to some way the can be enhanced in a obsessive compulsive order.
