The Grady Cluster is a High Performing Cluster, Overall
Individual Acts, Not Systemic
Common Problem to Solve, Cluster-
Wide
Just Imagine…
• Given the overall high performance of the Grady Cluster ,– What if everyone in the cluster pulled together to
synergize around a collective issue?– What if the effective practices within one school
or one classroom were identified, understood, and replicated across the cluster?
• What might the future of our cluster look like?
Computer Adaptive Assessment System
(CAAS)
• Tests students from grades K-9 in September and January.
• K-2 also tests in May for an end of the year assessment.
• Subjects: Math and Reading.• Test adapts to students ability on a continuous
scale.

Leverage Response to Intervention (RTI)
How Can We Address the Gap?
• Support strategic staffing of K – 2 teachers.• Support the strategic staffing of grade 6 teachers.• Support the ways in which schools leverage the RTI pyramid to
meet individual student needs.• Support the ways in which schools leverage Title I funds,
designed specifically to address the SES disparities.• Design community approach to convergence of
neighborhoods into Inman.• Leverage your power to rally district-level support to address
the gap.
Use your power for good!
