He acceded to demands for his resignation.I cannot accede to your request.

02. To achieve a high position, especially to become a king or queen.

Queen Victoria acceded to the throne in 1837.

Exceed – also has two meanings.

01. To be greater than a particular number or amount.

The price of this pen doesn’t exceed Rs. 25/-His expenditure exceeds his income.

02. To do more than the lw or an order etc. allows to do.

You should not exceed your limits.Be careful, Rahul always exceeds his authority.
