ELIGIBILITY CRITERIAŸ Presenta�on will include Photographs and

Videos. Presenters may bring models / small parts as a support for presenta�on.

Ÿ Case study can be presented by maximum 3 team members. Presenta�on can be made either in English or in Hindi language.

Ÿ Time allo�ed for presenta�on is 15 Minutes for one case study, followed by 3 Minutes Ques�on �me for Juries and 2 minutes for changeover.

CII Ins�tute of Quality is pleased to announce the SMED Compe��on on 20th August 2018, Bengaluru. SMED is an approach to overcome losses, due to changeovers. The method has been developed in Japan by Shigeo Shingo, and has proved its effec�veness in many companies, by reducing changeover �mes from hours to minutes.

The objec�ve of the compe��on is to help companies witness actual case studies from various companies, to reduce their Non-Value added ac�vi�es on a larger extent.

BROAD PROGRAMME

The broad Programme of the day will be:Ÿ SMED Teams Presenta�on for the Compe��onŸ Best teams will be decided by the team of Jury

members and awarded with a trophy and a Cer�ficate in the Valedictory Session on the same day.

Any person, who would like to learn about SMED can par�cipate as a delegate. For Par�cipa�on as Delegate 3,000/- +18% Service Tax
