Mission is to advance the positive social and emotional development of youth ages 8 – 18 in the Tampa Bay community

Teaches a core set of social and emotional attributes, values and skills designed to help children, teens and adults more effectively handle life’s challenges and to succeed academically, socially and professionally

This program is a life changing, positive youth development program for elementary and middle school aged girls that focuses on building strong social and emotional skills, self-esteem, and a life-long commitment to physical activity and healthy living.
Frameworks recruits Hillsborough County School District students and trains them to provide volunteer service hours to organizations such as:
Big Brother Big Sisters of Tampa Bay, Feeding America, ShrinersHospital for Children, The Tampa Museum of Art, The Spring of Tampa Bay and The Crisis Center of Tampa Bay
Revealing Inner Strengths throughEmpowerment (RISE) is a gender-specific,positive youth development frameworkfor middle school students that focuseson developing high social understandingand emotional intelligence (EQ). Alongwith IQ, students are prepared foracademic, relationship and leadershipsuccess as they advance in all their youthand adult roles. Trained facilitators deliverthe program using best practices on socialand emotional learning and single-gendereducation.

The scholarship will be administered and awarded through a board of individuals appointed by Frameworks of Tampa Bay Inc. and will be available solely to the participants of the Teens in Action program.
Only those participants may apply for the scholarship.

The goal of the annual fundraising event for the Teens in Action Community Essence Annual Scholarship Program is to raise the funds for two college scholarships.
