City Teenager Is Killed POST OFFICE (Contiftued from page I) In Apparent Robbery ,. acre site for a 15,000 square foot building. Council and staff help.. fully suggesttd several undeveloped properties slated for possible development JS potential sites for a poll office. In response to a query of whether the post office could be in an existing structure, Grimes replied that it could, but the preference ts to build a new structure. This i~ because of the post office's special needs, such as a loading dock area, large parking area, lot... of maneuvering room for the cu~tomers, and having operations rn one building for ease of moving the mad around. There are standard designs used for new .post offices. Grimes cited the new Bowie po-.,t office as an example.

However, the company, ~hich is ro coirry OUI lhe plans, has run into problems. For example, a WSSC 96-inch water pipe is under the route near Hunting Ridge and Greenway -Village that needs lighting. PEPCO has to get WSSC's approval to go ahead with the work.
