Since 1979, CommunicAsia has established itself as THE unparalleled one-stop ICT event platform in Asia.
Together with EnterpriseIT, the event brings the newest technology innovations in the ICT industry. It has also

The 2009 event attracted the participation of close to 37, 400 trade professionals and over 1,300 exhibiting companies
spanning 4 halls covering 42,000 square metres of exhibition area. The show is also unique worldwide in being
located alongside the region’s leading digital media and communications show, BroadcastAsia, which attracted anadditional unique 9,447 visitors in 2009.
More than 75% of the exhibitors surveyed commented that their exhibiting experience at CommunicAsia2009 was
fulfilling. Around 70% of the visitors surveyed will visit CommunicAsia2010.
The show is very informative and the products are good. We’re
able to see different technologies from all over the world relevant
to my work….. We exchanged contacts with quite a number of
companies and may contact them for future projects.
This is an excellent event and I was impressed by the quality of
exhibitors that I see here. I had a very fulfilling visit and it is definitely
time well-spent!
Harmonic as a global company with vast Asia-wide operations sees Asia as very relevant and important. As such, CommunicAsia is
and always will be one of the springboard points for us to share ideas and technologies with partners and customers.
Despite the challenging economic times that has affected businesses around the world; BroadcastAsia & CommunicAsia have largely
exceeded my expectations! The quality of exhibitors has gotten better this year and I see many promising upgrading products. I intend
to spend approximately USD1million and will further review the vendors I have met before the decision to purchase. I must also add that
it is brilliant that BroadcastAsia happens alongside CommunicAsia as that truly provides a one-stop platform for all my sourcing needs.
We consider CommunicAsia, the anchor tradeshow for the Southeast Asia region. As an exhibitor since 2004, we are very impressed
with how CommunicAsia2009 has enhanced our monetising potential, despite the gloomy climate.

The imbX Ministerial Forum on ICT
taking place alongside CommunicAsia &
EnterpriseIT, brings together government and market
leaders around the world. In 2009, 15 Heads of
Delegation, discussed on the theme “ICT -Transforming Governments, Businesses & Societies’.
Countries represented at the 5th imbX Ministerial
Forum included Bahrain, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia,
Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Oman,
Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam and Singapore. The
European Commission and ITU were also present.
CommunicAsia2009 Summit covered topics on Next Generation Broadband, Network Enablers & Architectures, Mobile
Services & Business Models, Green Telecoms, Mobile Marketing & Advertising, Mobile TV & Entertainment, and IPTV.
It created an excellent platform to network, conduct business deals, exchange information with peers and experts, and
even to evaluate competitors.
For 2010, the Summit will continue its aim to identify the most pertinent issues and real-time challenges faced by the
