OVERVIEW
Foundation Apprenticeship
- Civil Engineering
This Foundation Apprenticeship in Civil
Engineering could be the building block pupils
need for a career in the industry and is a
great way to get hands-on experience and
also gain a qualification at the same level as a
Higher. Pupils will have the unique chance to
develop skills and knowledge across a range
of civil engineering topics in several learning
environments, including the classroom and
practical fieldwork, alongside the experience
of a valuable work placement with an
employer.
What are Foundation
Apprenticeships?
• Designed for S5 & S6 pupils
staying on at school
• A new qualification to study
alongside National 5s and Highers
• Can be picked as a subject choice
and is at the same level as a Higher
