My Father sadly passed away from a heart condition and we wanted to give
something back to a good cause. Our guests thought the cards were a beautiful,
personal touch. They were extremely easy and quick to organize – we didn’t
have to do much at all. The quality was excellent and the look very classic and
simple… and I like to think my Dad loved them too, I plan to have one laminated
and placed on his grave.

We donated to the Irish Heart Foundation in loving memory of my late little
sister Laura (25 months) and my late father Peter. Both of them died from dilated
cardiomyopathy within two years of each other. It meant a great deal to both of
us to include them in our special day; even though they were not with us they
were there in spirit. To be able to give back to charity on your wedding day is a
tremendous feeling and we would highly recommend it to any couple. It was so
simple to organise and our guests were touched by the sentiment - some have
kept the scrolls as mementos of the day.

My father passed away from a heart condition and we wanted to include him in
our day. It meant a lot to us to have his name on the card – I have a photo of it in
my wedding album. It was very easy to organise and the Irish Heart Foundation
were great to deal with.

We decided to donate money to two charities – the Irish Heart Foundation and
the Galway Hospice – as our families had experiences with both heart disease
and the hospice services. The Irish Heart Foundation made it very easy to
organise the joint favours and they added that something special to the tables
for our big day! We are sure the money will be used wisely by both charities.

We lost some dear family members to heart problems and thought donating
to the Irish Heart Foundation would bring them closer to our day as well as
providing some much need funding for a great charity. Our guests loved the
favours. Everyone agreed that it was much better than wasting money on
sweets, drinks etc. The process of getting the favours was a breeze due to the
fact that one person was in charge of it all. Rosarii from the IHF was always just
an email away. It was one of the easiest things I had to organize and, as a bride
with lots of tasks to do, that was fantastic.

Thanks for all your help with the lovely cards and wee hearts. Our guests loved
the sentiment and liked the idea of a charity benefi ting from our happy day
because too often you see useless gimmicky stuff as wedding favours.

Sam and I decided to make a donation to the Irish Heart Foundation in memory
of my dad who passed away suddenly in 2010 from a heart condition. I found
Rosarii in the IHF a pleasure to deal with, and she made the whole process of
ordering the cards so simple (a huge bonus when trying to arrange a hundred
other things for the big day!!) The cards were very tasteful and our guests
thought it was a fi tting way to remember my dad.

Our wedding day was made extra special by donating to a great cause... the Irish
Heart Foundation. Everyone was wearing the little red hearts and I knew my
guests had my dad in their heart that day. He was taken from me when I was very
young but I know he’s always watching over me, especially on my wedding day.

We decided to use heart favours at our wedding because a rare form of heart
disease runs in my family. We thought it was a great way to help raise awareness
for this great cause. It was very easy to arrange and just involved a few emails to
pick which favours we wanted.

We chose the Irish Heart Foundation for our wedding favours as in 2009 I lost my
brother who died suddenly of a massive heart attack aged 33. Since then the Irish
Heart Foundation has been very close to my heart. We chose the card, key rings &
satin hearts. Everybody commented on them. Having the Irish Heart Foundation
as part of our wedding made my family feel my brother was there also.

We chose favours from the Irish Heart Foundation in memory of my dad who
died from a heart attack at the age of 38. It’s a charity that is very close to my
heart and I try to support them as much as possible. From the moment I spoke
to them on the phone everything was so simple to organise. We mentioned the
favours during the speech so guests would be aware as well as using the tent
cards on the table.

My brother has a pacemaker since he was 6 years old and my husband’s sister
has also had heart problems. When I was younger my Mam and I sold badges
for the Irish Heart Foundation. We wanted to make people aware of the work
the Irish Heart Foundation does and how important it is to look after your heart.
Our guests really liked the idea - they thought it was very clever and not having
to worry about favours took some pressure off us during the build up to the
wedding.

We chose the Irish Heart Foundation as our wedding favours in honour of my
mum who died suddenly three years ago. It was a beautiful and personal way to
include Mam. Dealing with Rosarii in the Irish Heart Foundation was a pleasure
and she was so accommodating. We wanted to personalise the wording on the
cards and it was no problem. They were simple, elegant and meaningful. Many
of our guests commented on how touching and thoughtful the cards were, but
more importantly we know that Mam would be honoured to be included in
such a way on our special day.
