CCMR Verifier

What is the CCMR Verifier?

4

The CCMR Verifier is a TEA Login (TEAL) version of last year’s CCMR corrections system which occurred in April and May.

Corrections will be submitted through the TEAL Accountability application for the list of 2018–19 annual graduates plus non-graduating 12th graders.

Districts will have through October 1 to electronically submit documentation for updates to student records.

The verifier can only be used to correct non-PEIMS indicators.

Why should districts use the CCMR Verifier?

5

Districts are encouraged to verify their CCMR data to ensure accurate data for

the CCMR Outcomes Bonus;

potential future small numbers analyses;

the 2019–20 Texas Academic Performance Report (TAPR); and

potential use in future accountability ratings.

How do districts use the CCMR Verifier?

6

If the district does not find any discrepancies or wish to request changes, no action is required.

If discrepancies are found, districts must request changes with supporting documentation.

Please note, CCMR indicators determined by TSDS PEIMS submissions are not eligible for corrections, and therefore, are not shown.

When requesting a test score update, the value entered is checked for validity. If a value is entered outside the acceptable range for that test, an error message box appears.

Click the “OK” button in the error message to clear the value. After the form field is cleared, proceed with the session.

Once a valid value is entered, the “upload support document” button is enabled.

Change requests are recorded only after any REQUIREDsupporting documentation (in PDF form) is uploaded.

TEA requires all supporting documentation be limited to ONE PDF document per student. The district may need to combine PDF files prior to uploading.

The file size must not exceed 16 megabytes.

Performance Reporting staff will examine the requested change(s) and the documentation provided before a final determination is made.

TEA will contact district staff if requested changes do not meet requirements or for any other remaining issues.

A hyperlink to “current status of requested changes” provides a status report for all submitted change requests.

The “Status Report of Requested Changes” provides a current request list by student. The changes to “Keith Cranford” are shown in this report.

As TEA staff review submissions, the “Change Status” column provides the district a current status record for each request. After review, each line reflects if a request is approved or denied.

CCMR Tracker

26

The CCMR tracker provides districts with an early preview of CCMR status for students who were in grades 9–12 during school year 2019–20.

No corrections will be submitted to TEA; this report is for informational purposes only.

If districts find errors, they are encouraged to work with testing vendors to make corrections prior to the student’s graduation.
