Today I would like to update you on our Diocesan Capital Campaign called “Our Faith, Our Future.” Please remember that last year we were celebrating the 125th Anniversary of the Establishment of our Diocese of Dallas. Recognizing that many parishes, schools, diocesan entities were finding it difficult to operate or to upgrade crumbing structures, Bishop Farrell knew that we really needed to raise a lot of money for our diocese. The goal was $125 million, and it would be dispersed for structural upgrades for our Holy Trinity Seminary, major stone repairs on our Cathedral Guadalupe, Catholic Schools, Catholic Charities, and various parishes. Every parish was assigned a goal, and our goal was $2 million. I really didn’t think that we would meet our goal since at that time the mortgage on our new Church and Chapel was $7 million. Combining advance pledges and the in-pew pledges that November Sunday you pledged a total of $3 million. Amazing generosity! Since then, more pledges have come in, and your final pledge is $3.9 million, almost double. Your super amazing generosity! Here’s the update on your payments toward that goal: you have paid $726,900 as of the end of May. Remember that each parish gets to receive from the Campaign 30% of what is paid toward their goal which was set by the diocese. Already we have received a check for $127,222.81 which we have put toward the principal on our mortgage. So, the more we donate to the Campaign, the more we receive. So, don’t forget to keep active your pledge, whether you pay on a monthly basis, quarterly, or annually. We recently received a notification from the diocese that some of our parishioners have not been paying on their pledge. The Diocese asked us to remind everybody that every single donation is important, huge payments or tiny payments, like different sizes of grains of sands, pebbles and boulders make a mountain. The diocese needs those gifts to make a huge mountain, and our parish needs those gifts to make a smaller mountain in Frisco so that we can pay off our mortgage as soon as possible. By the way, our mortgage now stands at $6,736,101.37. Those 30% returns from the Capital Campaign will help as will your regular donations that you make to our parish Building Fund—keep those coming too. WE THANK YOU FOR YOUR DONATIONS!!!

Larry Pichard Hoy me gustaría actualizarlos sobre nuestra Campaña Diocesana de Capital llamada "Nuestra Fe, Nuestro Futuro…" Por favor, recuerde que el año pasado estábamos celebrando el aniversario número 125 de la creación de nuestra Diócesis de Da-llas. Reconociendo que muchas parroquias, escuelas y entidades diocesanas tenían dificultades para operar o para reparar las es-tructuras dañadas, el obispo Farrell sabía que lo que realmente necesitábamos era recaudar dinero para nuestra diócesis, el obje-tivo era $125 millones de dólares, y se asignaría para las mejoras estructurales de nuestro Seminario de la Santísima Trinidad (Holy Trinity Seminary), para las reparaciones mayores de los muros en nuestra Catedral de Guadalupe, las escuelas Católicas, Caridades Católicas, y varias Parroquias. A cada parroquia se le asignó una meta, y nuestro ob-jetivo era $2 millones. Yo realmente no creía que alcanzaríamos nuestro objetivo ya que en ese tiempo la hipoteca de nuestra nueva iglesia y la capilla era de $7 millones. Sumando las promesas hechas con anticipación y la promesas realizadas en las Misas, ese domingo en Noviembre se comprometieron con un total de $3 millones. ¡Que increíble generosidad! Desde entonces, más promesas han entrado y la promesa final es $3.9 millones, casi el doble. ¡Esa es su increíble generosidad! Les actualizo la información de sus promesas para lle-gar a ese objetivo: hasta finales de mayo se llevan pagados $726,900.00 dólares. Recuerde que cada parroquia recibe de la Campaña el 30% de lo que se paga de la meta que se estableció por la diócesis. Ya hemos recibido un cheque por $127,222.81 dólares que hemos aplicado al capital de nuestra hipoteca. Por lo tanto, cuanto más apoyemos a esta campaña, más recibimos. No se olvide de mantener activa su promesa, si se pa-ga en forma mensual, trimestral o anual. Recientemente hemos recibido la notificación de la diócesis que algunos de nuestros feligreses no han estado pagando su promesa. Nos pidieron que les recordáramos a todos que cada donación es importante ya sea un pago grande o pequeño así como cada grano de arena, piedra o peñascos también hacen una montaña, la diócesis necesita esas donaciones para hacer una gran montaña y nuestra parroquia necesita esas donaciones para hacer una montaña pequeña en Frisco para que podamos pagar nuestra hipoteca tan pronto como sea posible. Por cierto, nuestra hipoteca ahora es de $6,736,101.37 dólares. Ese 30% que nos regresaron de la Campa-ña de Capital ayudará, al igual que sus donaciones regulares, a que los fondos para la construcción de la Parroquia se paguen.

Las inscripciones para niños que el próximo año es-tarán cursando de Kinder a 12º grado que son hijos de catequistas nuevos o activos o de parroquianos registrados y los niños que van a cursar su segundo año, se cerrarán el 23 de junio. El costo es de $70 por alumno.

Se reabrirán las inscripciones del 27 de junio al 12 de agosto para las familias no registradas o no acti-vas. El costo es de $90 dólares por alumno.
