The Capitalize for Kids Foundation is pleased to announce the inaugural Intelligent Investors Challenge – an idea contest for institutional investment professionals. The Challenge seeks to identify actionable investment ideas to be distributed to Capitalize for Kids members throughout the year. Submissions will be accepted between May 1st to July 31st, 2014. A prominent investment panel will determine the winning investment thesis’ based on ideas with the most compelling risk/reward characteristics over a 12-24 month horizon. By rewarding and disseminating top research, we hope to not only provide actionable ideas but encourage best practices in investment analysis.

Rules:• Ideas can be long or short• Complete 1 page candidate overview form online• Investment ideas must be an equity security in the US or Canada with a market capitalization of >$250MM as of May 1, 2014• Supplemental materials, including backup analysis, exhibits, models, financial projections, etc. may also be included
Eligibility:• One idea per contestant• Must have explicit permission from their employer to participate in the challenge• Challenge participants must be employed full-time in the institutional investment industry
