STYLES OF LETTERS (EMAILS)• Formal – is written to people the writer

doesn´t know, it doesn´t have a personal tone

• Neutral – is often written to people the writer knows but not very well or to people who are in a formal relationship with us (boss, colleagues, old clients…)

• Informal – is written to friend or work partners we know very well and long

PARTS OF THE LETTERS• Letterhead• Date• Inside address• Salutation• Body• Complimentary closing• Space for signature• Your name, typewritten• Enclosures

LETTERHEAD= is the heading at the top of a letter

• It usually consists of a name and an address, and a logo or corporate design, and sometimes a background pattern.
