Please note that the Committee advises that Club Vouchers that have been presented as prizes from Shows, can
be used for purchase of goods from the Sales Table and also for the payment of membership. If any members
receive vouchers from Ezi-Grow Orchids, and are unable to pick up their prize, Ian Gilmore has offered to
assist.

A reminder that you purchase all of your orchid needs through the Club on meeting mornings. If you need to
pre-order any orchid bark or Perlite, please contact Norm Martin – 0400 074 762
All other supplies such as pots, fertilisers, orchid clips, hanging pots, etc will be available on meeting morning.
Orchid bark
Supplies will be stored and available from the Club’s shed in Halifax. Please contact Norm Martin to arrange
any purchases and pick up from Shed. Please note that pickup is at Norm’s discretion.

Membership fees – Now due. This will be the final Orchid talk to unfinancial members.
August Challenge – L Harwood helped with booking accommodation. Money for the dinner to be paid through
the club($49.50 pp) Dinner preferences to be collated by J Charles. These need to be given to Albany by the end
of May. ACTION: J Charles to Register for the Challenge
Autumn show trophies – To be awarded at June meeting
Bus trip to Walpole -Orchidup open day is the last weekend in October. Quote for bus provided with the Albany
Challenge.
October meeting and Open shade house to be hosted at Steve and Marg Nelsons at Collie.
BYO Drinks, chair and a plate to share, BBQ lunch will be provided.
Carpooling option from Treendale shopping Centre leaving at 9.15am.
Competition plants – ACTION: S Nelson to source 20 to 25 plants of the same genera to sell to members to
grow as competition plants.
