Their target audience might be younger than in past times; the shortening of the word “Brooklyn” and the usage of blocky type conveys a bold clarity and eagerness to bring young folks inside.

Target Audience

The new strategy is to make the logo more appealing and colorful, less boring and governmental. More captivating and fun.

The target audience will remain the same, but hopefully younger folks will pay more attention and respond more favorably/with more enthusiasm to the new logo.
