Methodology

From December 8 thru 12, EPIC ▪ MRA conducted interviews with 300 qualified respondents in the Blissfield Community Schools District. A pool of district-wide telephone numbers was created, from which a stratified sample was randomly drawn. A random digit dialing technique was also employed. The results have a margin of error of ±5.7% within a 95% degree of confidence.

Methodology, cont.

In addition, an on-line survey was made available to district residents beginning on December 15th and closing on January 9th. 136 respondents chose to participate in this opportunity. The results, though unscientific, tend to follow the same patterns and trends as the telephone survey, albeit with less support for both the district and the proposals.

Support for a New H.S.

• Info saying the existing H.S. could be used for village and other offices had little practical effect on the likelihood of supporting a new H.S.

• Info saying the conversion to other uses may require little or no extra tax revenue produced little change in sentiment
