Animportantpartofbeingsafeontheroadisusingtheappropriatehandsignals.Developahabitofsignalingwhenyourdirectionchanges.

Handsignalsshouldbeusedwhenturning,stoppingorchanginglanes.

Becausebicyclistsaren’talwaysridinginfrontofcars,signalinghelpsothersbecomeawareofyourpresenceandshowsyourintentionstomotorists.
