Event Information: • Date:: Sunday, May 20, 2012 • Location:: begins and ends in Central Park • Length:: 10 kilometers (6.2 miles) • Duration: roughly 2 to 3 hours to complete Registration requirements: • No fundraising minimum • No fee to register
Recruit as many people as possible to participate Motivate others to fundraise and invite their

Ask us questions and don’t be afraid to try new fundraising ideas of your own!

Registered Star Walkers may sign in at Star Walker Sign-In at the corner of 65th St. and East Drive
Star Walkers who raised the $1,000 goal will receive their Star Pass to gain admission to the Star Walker Breakfast
They can then proceed to the appropriate Team Meeting Area or
pre-determined meeting location to meet their team

“Green Walkers” have raised all their money online.
Team Members who are Green Walkers can go to express Green
Walker Sign-In on the day of the AIDS Walk!
Location: The Apple Store on 59th St. and 5th Ave.
ONE STOP SHOPPING – Green Walkers pick up
Fundraising Incentive Awards and sign in at the
same time.
There is also Green Walker Sign In at Gold Team
Sign-In and Star Walker Sign-In.

You MUST make an appointment if want to turn in all of your
team’s money at once and collect their fundraising awards.
Have Team Member’s documents/money in separate envelopes
with their name and team number:

Team Members may come to Early Sign-In individually without
an appointment.
$150 or more - The official AIDS Walk New York T-shirt.
$250 or more - The official AIDS Walk New York Cap and T-shirt.
$500 or more - The official AIDS Walk New York Picture Frame, Cap, and T-shirt.
$1,000 or more - The awards listed above as well as a specially designed Star Walker Commemorative Pin, Star Walker Tumbler, a "fundraising royalty crown” to wear at AIDS Walk New York, and VIP access to the Star Walkers Club Breakfast!
Award pick-up is located at the north end of Literary Walk right before Bethesda Fountain
Team Meeting Stations are for teams with 25 or more walkers registered by
Friday, May 11 at 3 p.m.
A designated area for you and your team to meet up on the day of the AIDS Walk
Gold Teams receive Team Meeting Stations regardless of the number of registered walkers by May 11.
What if I don’t have a Team Meeting Station?
What you can bring: Balloons, Team T-shirts, Breakfast – (coffee, bagels, etc.) What you cannot bring: Flyers/materials to distribute to other walkers Would you like to have breakfast catered? We encourage you to use our official event caterer, Cosi. Call 1.866.580.COSI *NOTE: Someone must be at the Team Meeting Station no later than 7am to ensure that breakfast is there when team arrives.
Deadline : Friday, May 11 at 5 p.m.
If you have large amounts of items to transport from your car to your Team Meeting Station, reserve a Drive-On Pass!
Note: Any vehicle that needs to enter the venue (including caterers and other vendors delivering items to your team) must be pre-approved and appear on the official vehicle access list.

Review contact information of all Team Members.
Walkers not appearing on this roster and walkers who are registering on the day of the AIDS Walk can be written on the Transfer Forms.
You must leave the pouch and folder at your Team Meeting Station
There will be a Team Roster at your Team Meeting Station with pre-registered walkers as of Friday, May 11.
Team Meeting Stations are broken down immediately after the walk begins
Any supplies left will be recycled or thrown away Any items you wish to keep must be taken
with you
What if you didn’t qualify for a Team Meeting Station?
*Tip: Pick an easily navigable landmark in Central Park like the Bandshell. Or, meet near the Awards Tent at the north end of Literary Walk. Have cell phones—and cell phone numbers—handy!

Set a meeting place after your team finishes the route and congratulate each other on a great job! You deserve it!
THEN: • Grab lunch together, or • After-party at a Team Member’s apartment • Watch the Post-Walk Concert at noon
• Watch the total announcement at 3 p.m.
* Attend Post-Walk After Party at XL Night Club - Open vodka bar from 4-5pm and free admission to those who
participated in the Walk – Bring Certificate of Completion
- Happy hour until 9:00 pm
Deadline: Friday, June 15 Final team totals are based on total dollars turned in on or before the day of the event plus any additional contributions received in the AIDS Walk office by June 15.
After the deadline, pledges will still gladly be accepted but cannot be credited to a specific walker or team.
Award pick-up* at the AIDS Walk Office starts July 1 at the GMHC building.
*Only those who raise $150 or more are eligible for Incentive Awards.

Before June 15, we email you your Team
Roster with Interim Team Totals. Use this to
follow up with Team Members and inform us if
any more incoming team donations should be
added to your total.
After June 15, we will email you your Final
Team Roster with Final Team Totals, and
announce the Gold Teams for 2012!
