Objective

Students will write a well written paragraph, build rapport with classmates and peer review essays.

The “one question” ice breaker• Work with your table mates in pairs• Each pair comes up with one questionIf you could ask just one question to discover a person’s

suitability for taking care of your business (say a clothing store or a computer store), what would your question be?

Each pair needs to come up with just one question whose answer would help them determine whether or not someone would be suitable.

• BRAINSTORM what answers would cause you to consider someone suitable for the job…..

• NOW– just ONE QUESTION!!!

NOW try it out on your other teammates. Is the answer as insightful as you had hoped?
