COMPANY PROFILE
Maranatha Import Export is a privately owned Company whose core business is the manufacture of Gourmet Coffee. Maranatha has expanded since its establishment more than 20 years ago and operates a State of the Art roasting and packing facility at Castle Hill in Sydney. Whilst Maranatha roasts and packs Gourmet Coffee under its own brand, CAFÉ PALAZZO, it also manufactures Gourmet Coffees for a large Coffee Franchise, Private Label Coffee for a major Supermarket Chain and imports a range of grocery lines, both branded and for Private Labels. Estimated turnover for the year to 30th June, 2011 falls in the category of $25 to $50 million. Maranatha takes great pride in its commitment to the Australian Packaging Covenant and seeks to drive continuous improvement with regard to minimizing the environmental impact of its packaging material. Maranatha operates under the principles of HACCP in its manufacturing, and also holds Certifications for: NASAA Organic Processor, Woolworths WQA Quality Systems and Kosher Coffee products. We are in the early stages of formulating Environmental Management Procedures and have already begun demonstrating our sensitivity and commitment to our environment by sourcing from sustainable coffee growing regions through a partnership with the Rainforest Alliance Group.
