STAAR is for grades 3 – 8 to assess if scholars are meeting TEA’s academic standards.

Scholars are given 4 hours to complete each exam More Rigorous than the TAKS 6th Grade - Math and Reading 7th Grade – Math, Reading, and Writing 8th Grade – Math, Reading, Science, and US History 8th Grade – Algebra 1 EOC (Score goes towards

graduation)
