Setup of the E-portfolios:

The pages which need to be included are: 1. Student Home Page = Your Name

› 1.1. Journal/Weblog › 1.2. Weekly Readings/Responses

1.2.1. Activities 1.2.2. IDEA Wiki 1.2.3. Exam Revision Questions

› 1.3. Assessed tasks and Teacher feedback

Creating your Homepage:

Select the heading Students_2011 under Home.

Click on the icon “Add page” A box will appear on the screen asking

what title you would like to give the page, put your name e.g. “Asma Altaf”

This first page will be your homepage.

Click on this icon after selecting

To create pages under your homepage:

Select on your homepage Click the icon “Add new page” to Add a

new page. Name this page “Journal Weblog.” Repeat this procedure until you get three

pages under your homepage, remeber to add your initials at the end:› 1.1. Journal/Weblog_AA› 1.2. Weekly Readings/Responses_AA › 1.3. Assessed tasks and Teacher feedback_AA

Select Your Homepage

Then click on Add new page.

Name these pages according to instructions

Recap on Adding pages

Select the heading under which you want the pages to appear.

Name the pages appropriately Don’t forget to put your initials at the end And don’t panic...if you have put the

pages in the wrong place then they can always be moved.

How to Reorganise pages:

Select the page which you wish to move Click on the icon “More Tools” next to the “Edit

Tag” tab, drop down the contents Select the option “Move Page” A box will appear, select the heading or

subheading under which you want this page to go.

Select “Set Page Location” Use the arrows to organise where the page

must go. Select “Set Page Order”

Under Activities_AA I have my work organised under weeks, however I have week 4 on top of week 1, I want to move this page so that it is under week 3.

I have selected the page Week 4_AA which I wish to move.

I then drop down the icon “More Tools” and select “Move Page”.

You will get a screen like this. Select on the subheading you want this page to remain under.Then click “Set Page Location.”

Select the tabs “Up” an ”Down” to adjust were you would like your page. E.g. I would Press down till “Week 4_AA went under Week 3_AA.

Once you have decided where you want your page to be select “Set Page Order.”

The page will now appear were in its reorganised position.
