Commentary• There is clear evidence of ‘Apply a design process to produce
a solution’, required for all grade areas, in this submission of work. The mock-up also shows good integration with the development of the concepts.
• There is a selection of modes, media and presentation skills, required for explanatory note 10.
• The presentation skills do not quite meet the criteria of ‘high quality’, required for Excellence. These could be improved with a high quality rendered presentation, or high quality rendered freehand sketch/drawing using a greater range of media such as markers to show colour, materials and / or texture.
• This submission sits at the high end of the Merit grade area.
