Transition Aromas Classes

What a great opportunity to learn some-thing new!

Dec. 1st ~ Persimmon Day! Come & learn how to dry persimmons whole (in the Japa-nese style of hoshigaki), how to dehydrate, sample recipes for cookies, puddings & breads or freeze the pulp for later.

Time is 10—noon at 60 Carr Ave.

Cost is $2. For more info contact Wen-dy Elder at 726-3406. You do not need to bring persimmons to this at event

Dec. 8th ~ Repurpose Workshop

12-2 pm at the Aromas Water District Office, learn how to make an old favor-ite sweater into something new! Bring your own sewing machines, or several will already be set up. New to sewing? No problem! Come early at 11:00 and receive a simple sewing lesson. Don’t forget to bring your old sweater!
