Analysis Of Rough Cut

We all sat down and discussed improvements which could be made to all of our products and assessed each element of the products to get the best final

products which convey our initial intentions .

The title scrolling across the screen we felt could be accompanied by an type writing effect.

We NEED to include facts and figures of Leicester which we didn’t include on the out of focus shot at the start of the product as our initial method of narrative is through captions and facts .

Intro

We need to make sure we get the day to night time-lapse which we set about doing but didn’t end very successful .

Throughout the documentary we felt that the audio and soundtracks transition could be a lot more tighter and more edited as we felt this gave pauses throughout and was very rough

Summer Sundae • We felt that captions are needed

throughout and especially for the summer Sundae section as it was not very self explanatory

Some of the clips included in summer Sundae we felt overall were a bit long and did not show a lot so we plan to cut these clips up

Safe & SoundWe felt the editing here was very good however as we did

not have a voice over captions were needed both introducing the event and captions of the names of people included throughout the interviews

Later Footage after the Safe & Sound wasn’t as strong as compared to previous footage so we plan to go onto more shoots to film this rest of the section

We also felt that the audio wasn’t the best fit for the end of the Documentary as we re used a track so we intend of replacing this

• Credits we need to include as well as the Logo for the brand for our company – Tunnel House Productions .

We also felt the ending need to be a lot more suitable as it just ended we plan on having a closing down of the clubs to finish as it connotes the night finishing .

• Capture more footage with the Police with bouncers working together

Poster Corrections

We felt that the Police Officer could be slightly larger with feet off the page (medium long shot) to be positioned halfway up the clock tower

Decrease the Size of both Logos

Possible tag line to be included underneath the logo of the overall message to be conveyed

Radio Trailer Correction/ Suggestions

• A possible idea would be to replace the second half of the police interview after ‘very safe place to go out in that I know from personal experience’ with a dissolve into Example Kickstarts and some comments either from the bouncers or public about how good the police are (which we will obtain at our next shoot hopefully). However, we still have to verify if we are allowed ‘Example’s’ music with the exam board, due to some complications.

• Another idea would be to replace “Tunnel House Productions presents One Force One Leicester” with something along the lines of “Tunnel House Productions presents a Channel Four documentary”.
