An ideal wastewater treatment plant constructed under the notification

duty and discharging to subsurface infiltration systems

The AS-IDEAL PZV wastewater treatment plant is particularly suitable in places, where it is not possible to discharge cleaned wastewater to sewers, water streams, agricultural drains, etc. It is designed for family houses, hotels, boarding houses and other various facilities.

The advantages of the AS-IDEAL PZV (WWTP) and its AS-Klärmax IDEAL built-in section are as follows

ThistyperangeofhouseholdtreatmentplantshasbeencreatedbyacombinationoftheAS-MONAplasticcasttanksprovidingthenecessarystabilityandtheGermanAS-KlärmaxIDEALbuilt-insectionsprovidingtopefficiencyasthereactiontostricteroutletparametersstipu-latedrecentlybytheGovernmentRegulationsNo.57/2016Coll.,andNo.401/2015Coll.

Note:Thestandardheightoftheconduitis500mmandthesupplyincludesaplastictrafficablecover(load-bearingcapacity:200kg).

Treatment technology description

AS-IDEALPZVisanactivation&aerobicwastewatertreatmentplant.Thecontaminantscontainedinwastewaterareremovedbymechanical-biologicalprocessesintheso-calledSBRreactor.Intheaerationprocess,asimpletankandatime-controlledpurificationcyclerunningduringthedayareused.Ontheotherhand,thesedimentationphaseisintendedfornighthours,whichreflectstheusualhouseholdconditions.

•PhaseI–thisistheaerationphase,duringwhichthetankisbeingfilledandaerobicpurificationprocessestakeplace;floatingmicroorganismsaggregatedtoflocculiremoveorganicimpuritiesresultingintheaerobicdegradationprocessandconvertthemtobiomass.

•PhaseII–thesedimentationprocessfollowsveryquicklyduringnighthoursandflocculisedimentationcreatesaninterfacebetweentheactivatedsludgeandcleanedwater.

•PhaseIII–Afterthesedimentationprocess,whichusuallylastssome1.5hours,cleanedwaterisdrawnofftothedischargetroughortothetankforsamplingbytheuseofanairliftpump.

Valuesthatareusuallyachievedincontinuouslyoccupiedpremisesincasesoftypicalwater-rightproceedingsareasfollows:COD=130mg/l,BOD5=30mg/l,insolublematerials=30mg/l,NH4-N=20mg/l,Ntotal=30mg/l,Ptotal=8mg/l

Sludge

Theequipmentadvantageisahighlevelofsludgemineralisation,whichresultsinlowsludgeproduction.Allthesludgequantityisaerobicallystabilised.

Dependingonthetypeofwastewatertreatmentplants,thereareseveraldisposalpossibilitiesofsurplussludge:

•SS type:anothertankorexternaldewateringequipment,

•SSC type:integrateddewateringequipment(optionallysuppliedwiththeplant);thedewateredsludgecanbethencomposted.ThecompostersarealsoofferedbyAsio,spol.sr.o.,

•Easy type:thesludgeisdirectlydrawnofffromtheprocessandtransportedtoalargerwastewatertreatmentplant(usuallyamunicipalplant).

Equipment installation

Theequipmentinstallationiseasy–thetankisplacedintoanexcavationpit,thenitisconnectedtoasewerand,bythehosesrunningintheprotectivesleeve,tothecontrolcabinet(blower,valvesanddistributingpanel).Consequently,thecabinetisconnectedtopowersupply(240V).

Sampling

Iftherelevantwastewatertreatmentplantistobeoperatedwithintheconventionalwater-rightproceedings,itisadvisabletoinstallanaccumulationtank(forsampling)intotheequipment.Insuchcase,itwillbepossibletotakethesimplesamplesinaone-offoperation,whichismoreadvantageous.

Other possibilities

•Thewastewatertreatmentplantcanbeadditionallyfittedwithapumpandthewholeprocessadjustforthepurposeofusingthestoragespaceintheplantdirectlyforirrigation,withoutanyfurthertankbeingnecessary.

•ThewastewatertreatmentplantcanbemonitoredbytheAS-GSMapplication.Thismakespossibletomonitortheoperationsandinformtheowneraboutfailures(ifany)bySMSmessages.

•SanitationsafetycanbeprovidedbyanUVlamp;ifrequiredbythehydrogeologist,wastewatertreatmentplantwillbesuppliedwiththeUVlamp.

Use of the individual AS-Klärmax IDEAL built-in section in an existing tank or digestion (septic) tank

Incaseofasuitablegeometricalsimilarity,itwillbepossibletousetheAS-KlärmaxIDEALbuilt-insectionevenindependentlyduringrefurbishmentorintensificationprojectsinexistingfacilities,withtheaimofachievingthevaluesstipulatedbytheGovernmentalRegulations.Inplaces,wheretheplanttankistravelledoverbyvariousvehicles,thenthebuilt-insectioncanbeplacedinsideconcretetanks.
