AGEP 2004-2005 Data Overview
In 2004-05 78 institutions submitted some data but only:
63 institutions submitted complete Total Enrollee data.63 institutions submitted complete PhD Recipient data.60 institutions submitted complete New Enrollee data.37 institutions submitted 2003-04 Advance to Candidacy data.21 institutions submitted data on plans of 2003-04 under-represented PhD recipients.
This presentation focuses on findings from the 2004-05 AGEP data collection including:
• changes in the number and percent of UM student who are new enrollees in STEM graduate programs• changes in the number and percent of UM graduate students in the total STEM graduate student population.
Since time to STEM PhD degree is 6.5 to 7 years, changes in PhD degrees earned are not included
