1.2 (a) General Category: 85% seats are in the
general Category. Admission to this category will
be made on the basis of inter-se-merit of the
candidates based on the result of AIPGACET- 2016.
b) International Admissions :
15% of the seats are reserved for foreign National / Persons of
Indian Origin/Non Resident Indians category. The Candidates
desirous to get admission under this category must go
through the "International Admissions Policy" on our website
www.sumandeepuniversity.co.in and apply.
The Eligibility for this quota shall be as per Statutory
guidelines. In the event of seats falling vacant in this
category seats shall be converted into general quota and
admission will be done based on merit.
3. MODE OF ENTRANCE TEST
The AIPGACET 2016 will be of three hours duration
having 200 multiple choice questions (MCQs). Questions will
be of single best response objective type with four options.
Each correct answer will be awarded one mark. There shall be
no negative marking for incorrect answers. The Medium of
Examination will be English.
The Questions in AIPGAICET-2016 shall be based on the UG
Syllabus of that particular course with equal weightage.
If the number of applicants for the entrance is either less then
or equal to intake capacity of that particular program then in
that case the admission shall be given on the merit of the
qualifying exam.
There is no provision for Rechecking and Reassessment of
answer books.

1. INTRODUCTION
All India PG Allied Common Entrance Test 2016
(AIPGACET-2016) shall be conducted for the admission
to the various Post graduate Allied courses offered by
Sunmandeep Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University
established u/s.3 of the UGC Act, 1956, The constituent
Allied colleges, are as under.
(1) College of Physiotherapy recognised by the Indian
Association of Physiotherapy for B.P.T & M.P.T progam.
(2) Sumandeep Nursing College recognized by the Indian
Nursing Council and Gujarat Nursing Council for ANM,
GNM, B.Sc (N), P.B. B.Sc (N) & M.Sc (N) Program.
(3) Dept. of Pharmacy recognized by the Pharmacy Council
of India for B.Pharm , Pharm D, M.Pharm. and -
Pharm.D. (B) Program.
(4) Master of Business Administration recognized by the
U.G.C. for M.B.A. (Health Care) Program.
All the above institutions are associated with 1340
bedded teaching multi discipline, superspeciality hospital
in the campus having state of the art facilities for health
education and health care services.
The Admission Committee of the Summandeep
Vidyapeeth is responsible for conducting the
entrance test, declaration of results, counseling and
final admission to the respective program.

4. ELIGIBILITY
ELIGIBILITY FOR MPT
Candidates admitted into the Master of Physiotherapy
course should have passed the B.P.T. deegree examination
of this university or B.P.T. / B.Physio. or B.Sc (PT) degree
examination of any other recognized university accepted
by the authority of this university as equivalent thereto and
has completed six months compulsory rotatory internship
in a teaching institute or other institutions recognized by
this university and the National body of Physiotherapists .
It is desirable that applicants should have worked as a
qualified physiotherapist for at least one year in a Hospital /
Institution prior to admission to the post-graduate course.
ELIGIBILITY FOR M.PHARM
A Candidate who has passed the B.Pharm degree
examination either from this university or any other
recognized Indian University by law in India or any other
degree courses in pharmacy recognized as equivalent by
pharmacy council of India (PCI) / All India post graduate
allied council of Technical Education (A.I.P.G.A.I.C.T.E) /
University Grants Commission (UGC) for this purpose and
who has secured not less than 55% of the maximum marks
in aggregate or not less than 55% marks in the final year
B.Pharm examination shall be eligibility for the admission to
the M.Pharm course.
For SC/CT/ (Gujarat) Category -1 candidates, the
prescribed percentage of marks will be 50% of the
maximum marks in the qualifying examinations, provided
they have genuine certificate from concerned Govt. Office.
ELIGIBILITY FOR PHARM.D (Post Baccalaureate)
A Pass in B.Pharm from either this university or institution
approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section
12 of the Pharmacy Act:
The candidate should be registered with PCI before joining
the course.
ELIGIBILITY FOR M.SC. NURSING
1. The minimum education requirement shall be the
passing of :
B.Sc. Nursing /B. Sc. Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.sc.
Nursing with minimum 55% aggregate marks.
2. The candidate should have undergone B.Sc. Nursing
/B.Sc. Hons. Nursing / Post basic B.Sc Nursing in an
Institution which is recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
3. Minimum one year of clinical work experience after Basic
B.Sc. Nursing.
4. Minimum one year of clinical work prior or after post
Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
5. Candidate shall be medically fit.
6. The candidate should be registered with INC before
joining the course
ELIGIBILITY FOR MBA
Candidate who have MBBS/ BDS/ BPT/ BAMS/ BHMS or
any other degree recognized by University are eligible for
AIPGACET - 2016.
Those candidates holding valid CAT/MAT/XAT/SNAP or
any other recognized score are exempted from this
entrance exam.
ELIGIBILITY FOR MSc (MEDICAL)
1. Bachelors degree in any stream of Science with
Microbiology / biotechnology / Biochemistry / Chemistry /
Zoology / Botany / Life Sciences or B.Pharm / M.B.B.S /
B.D.S./BAMS/BHMS/B.U.M.S./ B.P.T form any recognized
Indian university or equivalent qualification.
2. Candidate should have obtained minimum 50% marks
(40% for candidate belonging to reserved category) in
qualifying examination.
3. Candidate should secured minimum 50% Passing marks at
the Entrance Examination.
5. CENTERS FOR ENTRANCE TEST
The AIPGACET - 2016 Shall be conducted at the following
cities:
* If sufficient number of applicants have not opted for
a particular center, then admission Committee will
decide the examination center and accordingly
Examination center will be allotted to candidates. The
address of the Examination center assigned to a
candidate will be given in Hall Ticket. No request

8. SELECTION PROCEDURE
The selection of the candidates will be done on the
basis of inter-se-merit of the candidate taking into
consideration the preference given by the candidate
and availability of seat in the branch/discipline of
his/her choice when it is his/her turn for counseling.
Tie Breaker
In case of equal marks at AIPGACET - 2016 Inter-se-
merit of the candidates will be determined by applying
following tiebreaker rules:

aggregate of marks at the first, second, third & final
year exam taken (as applicable) all together will be
preferred.
3. A candidate securing higher percentage of marks in
the aggregate of marks in the final year examinations will
be preferred.

be preferred.
9. FEE STRUCTURE
for change of center mentioned in the application
form shall be entertained.
6. APPLICATION FORM, SUBMISSION & FEES
A candidate who desires to appear for All India PG Allied
common Entrance Test of Sumandeep Vidyapeeth has to
submit an application in the prescribed form along with
attested copies of the documents in support of
application.
Application should be submitted along with all necessary
documents and with DD for Rs. 2600/-in favor of
Sumandeep Vidyapeeth, Vadodara as the cost of an
application form and examination.

submitted along with demand Draft of Rs. 3100/- (Form
Fee + Test Fee + Late Fee) in person at Admission Cell of
the University by 08-06-2016 up to 4.00 p.m.
7. HALL TICKET
Hall Tickets Carrying photograph of the candidate
shal l be issued to those who are el igible
to appear for the Entrance Test. For this purpose
t h e c a n d i d a t e m u s t s u b m i t t w o r e c e n t
passport size photographs (not more than three
month old) along with the application from. They
should write their name on the backside of the
photograph. The Hall Ticket will be dispatched to the
candidate online. Those who fail to receive the Hall
Tickets by 10/06/2016 can contact the Admission
Office on Phone No. 02668-245267.
The Hall Ticket must be presented in the Examination
Hall for verification of candidate's identity when
instructed by the invigilator to do so and also at the time
of counseling. The Hall Ticket is not transferable.

Fees(Per year)
College Deposit of Rs. 25,000/- for all PG Allied Programms,
which is refundable without interest after completion and
clearing all dues of the university.
Fees Structure for FN/NRI/PIO Quota Seats are put up on our
website.
Selected Students are required to furnish Bank
Guarantee for the entire course Fee at the time of
admission.
Fee Refund Policy :
1. In the event of a student/candidate withdrawing before the
starting of the course, the wait listed candidates shall be given
admission against the vacant seat, the entire fee collected from
the student after deduction of the processing fee of Rs. 1000/-
(one thousand) shall be refunded and returned by the
university to the student/candidate withdrawing from the
programme.
2. A student who leave after joining the course and if the seat
consequently falling vacant has been filled by another
candidate by the last date of admission ,the institution shall
return the fee collected with proportionate deduction of
monthly fee and proportionate deduction hostel fee (where
applicable) till the last date of admission.
3. If due to any reason selected candidate leaves the course
after the cut off date of admission or in-between course period
and no seat could be filled against this cancellation due to
statutory constraints ,then he/she has to pay the tuition fees
for the remaining years of study.
HOSTEL FEES
(a) Hostel Admission form charges Rs. 200/-
(b) Hostel Residential Charges including food charges
for one year.
Note : Additional Facilities like Freeze, A.C. etc. are
provided with additional charges.
Hostel Deposit of Rs. 5,000/- for General Hostel and
for Dhanvantari, Shushruta, Vama and Gargi Hostel
Rs. 10,000/- Refundable without interest after
clearing all dues.
10. DECLARATION OF RESULT
The result of the All India PG Allied common Entrance Test
2016 will be announced in the form of merit list
arranged according to the marks obtained by the
candidates at Sumandeep Vidyapeeth office and on the
website. www.sumandeepuniversity.co.in.
11. COUNSELLING
The short-listed candidates on merit-list will be called
for counseling.
At the time of counseling the eligibility of the
candidates for admission shall be verified from
original documents and those found eligible will be
offered admission to the respective programme.
The candidate will have to appear for counseling at
their own cost.
The physical presence of the candidate at the time of
counseling is essential. Absence of the candidate at
the specified time, date and venue will result in
forfeiture of any claim for admission and Sumandeep
Vidyapeeth will not be responsible for the same.
Asking a candidate to report for counseling does not
mean that he/she will be admitted to the course. The
actual admission will depend upon the course and
seat availability, when his/her turn comes in order of
his/her inter-se-merit position.
Eligibility certificate will be issued by scrutiny officer
based on verification of the documents enumerated at
point 12 below.
12. (a) DOCUMENTS
The attested copies of the following documents must
be submitted along with application form for Entrance
Test and originals should be submitted at the time of
Admission.
* Birth Certificate / School Leaving Certificate
* Year wise examination marks statement
* Rotating internship training Completion certificate
(If applicable )
* Registration Certificate Issued by respective council
where ever applicable.
* Bonafide certificate from the Dean / Principal of the
college in case the internship is still on going.

In case the candidate suppress any information or in
case of false / fake / fraudulent information / documents
found during admission and any time there after, the
admission / degree awarded shall be canceled and
further legal action maybe initiated.
13. GUIDELINES FOR ENTRANCE TEST
Candidates must carry Photo I.D. Card in Original (i.e.
Passport, Driving License, Voter ID Card etc.) Candidate
must be present at the Examination Hall and occupy the
seat allotted to him/her, fifteen minutes before
commencement of the Entrance Test. Prior to
commencement of examination the invigilator will
convey general instructions for the test.
During the test, the invigilator will check identity of the
candidate by referring to the Hall Ticket given to the
candidate with the Photo ID Card.
For answering the question, the candidate shall
reply by darkening the appropriate circle in the sheet
provided.
Each correct answer will be awarded one mark.
However if more than one circle is darkened or any
other marking method is used no marks will be
awarded.
Rough work, if any should be done in the space
provided in the Test Booklet, Rough work should not
be done anywhere on the Answer-sheet.
Calculators, Cell Phone and any other electronic
gadgets are not allowed in the Examination Hall.
No candidate will be allowed to leave the
Examination Hall till the Entrance test is over.
Smoking, Gutka and chewing gum is strictly
prohibited in the Campus and in the Examination Hall.
14. DISCIPLINE
The candidate appearing for entrance examination shall
be subject to strict disciplinary conduct. Any violation
of code of conduct, malpractice, unfair means and
wrongful representation shall be liable to be punished
as per University guidelines thereto.
The decision of the Vice Chancellor shall be final and
binding on all in this regards.
15. ANTI RAGGING
It must be noted that the institute considers ragging as a
cognizable offence and shall take strong action against
the offenders. University has zero-Tolerance for
ragging. Following are the guidelines given by the
University Grant Commission and Statutory councils to
curb the Menace of Ragging in Universities /
Educational Institutions.
The World 'ragging' means the act of teasing,
taunting, playing practical joke upon someone or
holding comic parades and other activities during
certain period of a college. term to raise money for
charity.
Forms of ragging :
Ragging is found to take the following forms (the list is
only Indicative and not exhaustive)
Crisp Orders
- To address seniors as 'Sir”
- To perform mass drills;
- To copy class notes for the seniors;
- To serve various errands;
- To do menial jobs for the seniors;
- To ask/answer vulgar questions;
- To look at pornographic picture to 'shook the
fresher out of their innocence;
- To force to drink alcohol, scalding tea, etc.
- To force to do acts with sexual overtones,
including homosexual acts;
- To force to do acts, which can lead to physical
injury / mental torture or death;
- To strip, kiss, etc.
- To do other obscenities
- Any other forms which may cause mental &
Physical pressure

Punishments
The following could be the possible punishments for
those who are found guilty of participation in or
abetment of ragging. The quantum of punishment shall
naturally, depend upon the nature and gravity of
the offence as established by the Disciplinary
Committee or the court of law.
1. Cancellation of admission.
2. Suspension from attending classes.
3. Withholding / withdrawing scholarship /
fellowship and other benefits.
4. Debarring from appearing in any test/examination
or other evaluation process.
5. Withholding results.
6. Debarring from representing the institution in any
national or international meet, tournament, youth
festival etc.
7. Expulsion from the hostel.
8. Rustication from the Institution for verifying period.
9. Expulsion from the institution.
10. Fine up to Rs. 25,000/-.
11. Rigorous imprisonment up to three years. While
the first 10 types of punishments can be awarded
by the appropriate authority of the institution
itself, the last punishment can be awarded only by
a court of law.
16. COURT JURISDICTION
Any legal dispute arising out of conduct of All India
PG Allied Common Entrance Test 2016 (AIPGACET-2016)
as well as the admission procedure shall be subject to the
Waghodia Jurisdiction.
17. DISCLAIMER
Sumandeep Vidyapeeth, At & Po. Pipariya,
Tal. Waghodia, Dist. Vadodara, has not authorized any
individual or agency to deal with the admissions in any
of the constituent colleges of the Sumandeep
Vidyapeeth. Sumandeep Vidyapeeth does not charge
any capitation fee in lieu of admission to its
constituent colleges. It should also be noted that
contents of this information Brochure are subject to
