MissionTo engage community resources to move individuals

and families from crisis to financial security.

• Hub for Resource Navigation and Referrals

• Central point of entry in the “system”

• “Walking Resource Guide”

• Convener for tackling community issues

• 3,800 Families served in 3 years

• 10,000+ referrals made

CONNECT NSV NETWORK TIMELINE➢August 2017- Held community meetings and started search for data sharing tool

➢2017-2018 – Researched platforms and funding sources

➢April 2019 – Partnered with local hospital system & joined Unite Us® platform

➢August 2019 – Launched Connect NSV Network

• 5 agencies

➢January 2020 – Focus on onboarding new partners and promoting cross-sector referrals

➢February 2020 – DASH Mentor Program

• Goals: Increase engagement & Turn data into storytelling

➢March 2020 –December 2020 - COVID era

• 25 agencies

CONNECT NSV NETWORK TIMELINE➢December 30, 2020 – Merger with Unite Virginia

• Unlimited licenses available

➢January 2021 – DASH Community Impact Contract to expand network in our Southern region

• Goals: Onboard 15 new partners & engage partners to create integrated service delivery model.

• Currently scheduling partner engagement meetings, demos & creating promotional materials sharing stories from partners

• All rent and utility requests required referral from VAN so we could track outcomes

• $89,000 distributed to 5 partners

• CARES Act Assistance • Distributed $655,000 for rent/mortgage and utilities using partners on the

network

2. Stay flexible in order to respond to the changing climate

3. Focus on trust and relationship building

4. Designate a point person to handle tech issues (especially important during remote work)
