About SRTM University The Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded established

in 1994, although situated in rural area is fastest growing University. This

University is catering to the educational needs of Marathwada Region by

providing quality education. It has beautiful campus spread over 600 acres

of land and has holistic and huge infrastructure. About 50 PG courses are

running through 13 different Schools.

About School of Pharmacy

School of Pharmacy established in 2007 as University department, Swami

Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded. School provides

instructions leading to Degree, Post graduate and Doctorate courses in

Pharmaceutical Sciences.

Faculty Development and its objective

Quality is important in every product but it is more vital in medicine as it involves life. Analytical chemistry is mainly concerned about determining the qualitative and quantitative composition of material under study. Its supreme importance has caused it to be assiduously cultivated from a very early period in the history of chemistry, and its record comprise a large part of the quantitative work, which is spread over the whole domain of science. Analytical chemistry find use in many branches of science but it is particularly indispensable to the pharmaceutical sciences. Analytical chemistry are of two type Instrumental method and Classical

method, were instrumental method of analysis are widely accepted over the

classical methods. These methods are extremely sensitive, providing precise

and detailed information from small sample materials. They are for the most

part rapidly applied, and in general are readily amenable to automation.

Current Faculty development programme aims to provide a forum where

expert and academia can meet to discuss innovation in pharmaceutical

analysis and the use of new methods and techniques in analysis of

pharmaceutical products, and how practical this methodology is from an

industrial view point.

Eminent Persons

The eminent personalities from Academia, Research Institute and Industry

will give insight-out knowledge of sophisticated analytical techniques.

Eligibility

The programme is open to teacher working in University/Colleges

Approved by AICTE.

Registration:

• Enrolment is restricted to 50 participants and therefore application

will be accepted on first come first served basis.

• Registration will be accepted with registration form fully endorsed

by head/principal of Institute/colleges.

• The delegate Registration fees is Rs. 200/- which is to be sent by

D.D. in favor of Finance & Account Officer, S.R.T.M. University,

Nanded.
