SRI uses
Lexile measurement.• Interpreted as a book level
that a student can read with 75% comprehension
• 75% comprehension is the level identified by experts as offering the reader a certain amount of comfort and yet still offering a challenge
Lexile Equivalents AMS Targets
Grade 6 – 1000L
Grade 7 – 1100L
Grade 8 – 1200L
SRI determines
Lexile level and range.
• 920L
• 820 - 970
AMS students who are currently at or above
Target:
• 6th: 56 of 239 • 7th: 57 of 242 • 8th: 75 of 237
Reading Counts!
• RC can be configured to allow student to take a quiz more than once.
• RC has a bank of 30 questions for each quiz, so each quiz taken is a little different.
