High ABi™ indicates teeth grinding is an arousal response secondary to OSA

Low or no ABi™ indicates a separate and distinct disorder

Idiopathic Bruxism - TMD

Idiopathic teeth grinding

Knowing the difference can influence whether you are treating 2 separate disorders or OSA with a symptom of teeth grinding as an arousal response.

Collecting the data

Place a check for “Channel 1”

Select “Submental, 200Hz
